What better way is there to experience your hobby than with others? You'll meet a lot of nice and interesting people at LSK, all willing to help you get started. Most self taught pilots crash... on their first flight. It's sad, but true. There are a very few self taught pilots. Most pilots who taught themselves will tell you that if they had it to do over again, they would have found help.

We have two "Real Flight" (brand) simulators available to permit practice on a variety of model aircraft without worrying about crashing. This is a great tool for both new and experienced RC pilots
LSK offers a great place to fly. We have very few obstacles for about 1/2 mile in all directions. We offer a paved runway, a grass runway, pond for float planes, ample pit area, parking, rest rooms, sun shelters, and a club house with fridge, microwave and grill. Everything you need for a great day of flying! You can't just fly anywhere. The city of Lincoln has laws restricting flying RC aircraft to small aircraft in designated areas in a two city parks. Models, even the small ones, take a lot of room to fly and are potentially dangerous. LSK's site offers a safe, insured flying site with a half square mile of obstacle free over-fly.
LSK sponsors events you can participate in or attend. Every year, LSK sponsors for-fun and competitive events. There is a little something for everyone. The events run year round, but most are during the more pleasant months in Nebraska.
With membership you'll get a fun and informative monthly newsletter, access to our many flying events from fun-flys to competitions like Combat, Scale and Aerobatics, and you'll meet some really nice people! Odds are you'll make some great lifetime friends!
